Here are some quick answers to our most frequently asked questions. If you cannot find the answer to your inquiry, please reach out to us at questions@shopfarewell.com and we will be happy to help!

Jewelry

Our current turnaround time is 3 to 4 weeks on most orders. Please keep in mind that your order will be processed Monday through Friday, not including holidays. We do not process or ship on weekends or holidays. 

We accept returns on any unworn piece within 30 days of receipt. After 30 days, all sales are final. Please email us at questions@shopfarewell.com to start the return process and to receive instructions on how to send your jewelry back to us. Items must be returned in their original condition, and all paperwork and packaging must be returned as well. Clients are responsible for all return shipping costs. We are not responsible for items lost in the mail so we highly recommend that you insure your package.

We do not have gift wrapping services at this time, but we would be happy to include a note from you for the recipient. Simply include your note at checkout, exactly as you would like it to appear, and we will make sure it looks great!

We offer free domestic shipping via USPS Priority Mail within the United States on all orders.

We ship via USPS Priority Mail within the United States.

Once your order is fully processed, we will ship your package via USPS Priority Mail. Delivery will take between 1 to 3 business days, based on where the package is being sent within the United States.

Unfortunately, we do not ship outside of the United States at this time.

Currently, signature is not required upon delivery.

The entire Farewell Jewelry collection is set in 14k gold vermeil. 

The stones set in our pieces are 100% natural gemstones, custom cut for our unique designs.

Vermeil (pronounced “vur-MAY”) is a thick micron gold layer, usually not less than 10 karat gold, over solid sterling silver. Other “gold plated” jewelry have a thin coating of gold over cheaper materials, such as brass. Vermeil is a step up from gold plated. Our vermeil boasts an industry-leading 14k gold layer over sterling silver.

Currently, we do not offer resizing for any of our pieces.

We have added a 2-inch extender on our chains so that you can have the option to wear the necklace shorter or longer.

We will accept returns on any unworn piece within 30 days of receipt. Items must be returned in their original condition, and all paperwork and packaging must be returned as well. After 30 days, all sales are final.

If you wish to exchange your piece, we will apply the full amount of your original purchase to a new purchase of equal or greater value. The new piece must be in stock at the time of the exchange (within 30 days of original purchase); credit does not apply to future purchases. Limited to one exchange per piece.

We are proud to offer a Limited Lifetime Warranty for all Farewell Jewelry pieces (this includes our necklaces, earrings and bracelets). This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.

We guarantee that your jewelry will be free of manufacturing defects. Manufacturing defects do not include such issues as general wear and tear, scratches, stretched chains, damage from improper cleaning, abuse, misuse or misplaced/lost jewelry. At our discretion, we will repair or replace any defective piece with the same design, if available. If the same design is unavailable (such as with one-of-a-kind or limited-run pieces), we will replace the defective piece with a comparable design or offer store credit.

We do not endorse or approve any third-party alterations or adjustments to your jewelry. Accordingly, any third-party alterations or adjustments will void your Limited Lifetime Warranty. 

Clients are responsible for shipping costs to and from our studio. We are not responsible for items lost in the mail so we highly recommend that you insure your package.

While our pieces are crafted with great care, we understand that things happen and jewelry can become damaged. Please email us with detailed damage information (photographs of the damage are welcome) at questions@shopfarewell.com to inquire about your needed repair.
